that someone may have guessed Hybrid for either snake, in a way it is a compliment....as many hybrids have outrageous color. Mark my words....I will not work with Pit Hybrids. I admit I like many of the King, Milk and Corn types...but not for Pits.

Before everyone gets mad that we're discussing Hybrids I will say this. Most Pit Hybrids suck, as they tend make animals which simply do not look as nice as the pure species. That said I will mention I am speaking of Pines bred to Gophers for example....to most every Pit person I have ever met this snake would be caca. Pits bred to Milks Kings or anything else? That snake would be shunned by all Pit keepers I can think of. Many snakes have had their origins mixed up but many Pit keepers are much more adamant about keeping records and having snakes traceable back to a source that can be verified. Other snakes? I love the looks of many of the Hybrids, I even own some. But Pits.....it is just a no no. Itis basically a zero tolerance kind of thing, and if you take the time to look at some Pit crosses you will probably agree the pure Pit morphs are awesome and can not be matched or surpassed. To take it further plenty of Pit lovers prefer the wild types over morphs. Tom Stevens

you make a good point.

i also like the wild look but prefer not to own them because with morphs, i know they are captive bred for generations.
