PIN WORMS NEED INFO

peach749 Feb 23, 2006 05:38 PM

hello everyone again. I have an update to my post a few days ago. it was tilted shaking her but. I took her stool sample to the vet today and they said she was highly infested with pin worms. keep in mind this is a normal vet and has very little experience withy reptiles, but she said she has no problem identifying the parasites. would this cause the dragon to shake her but or scratch it on the stone.i know with dogs and cats that have worms a lot of time you will see them always biting at there but or dragging it across the carpet. if anyone is lost here I post a topic a few days ago , it was labeled shaking her but. if anyone can give me there experiences in the past it would be very help full
thanks peach

oh yeah I got plenty of that. it doesn't take much to do the job. about 3 times a year I take a stool sample to the vet to get it checked out and pin worms is the most common one so I bought a 6 oz bottle of it and she gave me the formula weight by dosage. I've seen you reply to a lot of these ???? up here have you ever seen a female do this before, I have been doing this for a while now and have never had this happen but that one time. by the way super worms colony is getting to a great start I have about 75 or so almost formed beetles, thanks for the help with that.
talk to you soon peach

Never seen it before but I could see where it could itch or be slightly irritating. Sounds like you've dealt with this before so I'll just remind you to keep em well hydrated during dosing. Congrats on the supers.
