Care info needed for E. lucifuga

Physignathus Feb 23, 2006 09:54 PM

I am trying to find any and all care information for Eurycea lucifuga, the Cave salamander. I've tried other sites and a google search with no results. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've kept them on small crickets. Make sure your enclosure is escape proof, they're extreme climbers and can slip through some pretty small (flat) openings. You also want the enclosure to hold high humidity.

Thanks Russ. I'm raising 3 species of roaches: B. discoidalis, B. dubia and B. lateralis for feeders. All 3 produce small nymphs. But I also like to add variety to my herps diets so I usually get small crix too.
