ive got a male(i think so) leo and hes not very old but i saw the most wierdest thing when i went 2 bed my he came out and he started like yawning you know like when they regurgitate but he didnt he did this a couple of times then made a little squeky roar . then he went crazy he flipped and rolled around really fast for about a few secs then stopped and dozed off ontop of his cave like nothing has just happened.
has anyone got any idea what he did and why ?? id be grateful for any comments and advice .

What do you feed him? It could have been a mealworm biting his stomache if he eats large mealies.

I am sorry I cant help with an answer although I would love to hear what this dance was. I have been told by manny a reptile keepers that meal worms DO NOT bite or eat the lizards stomach ever. I have fed both my Gecko SUPER MEAL WORMS there whole lives with an ocasional pinkie with no problems

my geckos have never even eaten a mealie my seem to find them quite boring and prefer to chase crickets around.neway i havent seen him do it again though and i only feed mine crickets and i sometimes change to locusts.

Was he shedding? I really don't know. Has it happened since? If it only happened once I would not worry to much.

But you did say something that caught my eye. You said it looks like when they regurgitate. Has yours regurgitated meals before, and does it happen often. If so I would be more worried about that right now.

the regurgitate thing int that serious i found out that i was feeding them just slightly bigger crickets when i first got them than they could eat so they brung em back up and ive changed this now.and it hasnt happened since

This is the second post i've seen in the last few days about this yawning/regergitating behavior in a young male leo. My female did weird dances when she was little. I wouldn't worry about it too much. My favorite is the tail waves. When they wiggle their tail through and "S" motion. One suggestion i've seen on this topic is that they might have seen their reflection and was trying to fight/scare it off.
