I want to be clear on how to do this! I am moving in August from California to Kentucky. I will be taking my adult Leopard Gecko with me in the truck. She has a herp carrier (looks like a plastic fish tank with a lid)and I am thinking I should put a moist hand towel with a heat pack in there for her along with a small hide. The truck will have the A/C on the entire time, I guarantee that for my own sanity. I will be stopping at hotels during the night and she will come inside the room with me. Would it be better, in the hotel room, for me to let her out in the bathtub during the night with her mealyworm and water? I just hate the idea of leaving her in a small container for so much time! Also, I feel dumb for having to ask but, where do I pick up heat packs?

Thank you to everyone and everyone for all advice. I've never moved more than an hour before so moving a five member family with multiple pets is an scary task!
