This snake HATES me! I don't know why? Brian who I purchased her from says she never hissed a day in her life. When I brought her to the vet, he just reached in and snatched her up without even a hiss. Every time I put my hand in the enclosure she comes right at me..hissing striking..the whole nine yards. It doesn't make sense to me... I think she is intimidated by my dark complexion... that's the only thing I can think of. She tried to kill me while cleaning her enclosure this morning!

Can't we all just get along??

tanning? lol .. I couldn't imagine a 8' psycho snake although, I watched a 6' white lip who didn't want to be sexed shoot musk half way accross the room yesterday... that was fun

I have found if you go into a cage unsure of yourself or if you hesitate and don't just smoothly take hold of a snake, that some will do this. It is almost like they can sence fear and act upon it.

WHO CARES IF SHE BITES? THAT IS ONE BEAUTIFUL BOA, CE. IS IT A SURINAME OR GUYANA? LOL, JUST KIDDING!

I have a very light complextion, I'd be happy to try and tame her. Send her my way!

JMHO, FWIW, YMMV.

she's not to bad..she doesn't go nuts when I walk in the room. She's usually fine when I pick her up, but when I go to put her away she goes nutso... She'll calm down eventually.

sweet as always...

my satanic fury snake is slowly but surely settling down as well...just keep handling. if it werent for snake hooks though, i may never be able to get her out of the cage.
