maximum cage size for a pacman

jvillereptile Feb 24, 2006 01:06 PM

it if my first time with a pacman but not with other herps i was wondering what would be the biggest size cage for one i like to keep my animals where they are happy. my frog is 3inches and right now he is in a 10gallon aquarium. i debateing wether or not i want to put him in a bigger cage that way it can stay in one cage the rest of its life. that is easier then to change his cage around. i believe the frog is a male becuase it chirp when i rub its back like other male frog and toads do

I have a male and he stopped growing now at 3 and 1/2 inches. Males don't get as big so you wont have to worry about him growing much bigger. I keep mine in a 10 gallon. They don't move much. If you wanted you could have a 20, but a 10 would fit him his whole life. As for rubbing his back, that's not too good for him so don't do it too much, the oils on your hands don't do good things to their absorbing skin. good luck
