is it a corn snake?

krpatz Feb 24, 2006 01:46 PM

Could someone please help me here. My son brought home a snake that I was told is a Corn Snake but i am not sure. I am thinking that it is a Rat Snake. The snake was a gift from his mothers boyfriend so I don't know the particulars about it. Any clues to look for or reference materials to look up would be most helpful. Thanks in advance.

that are listed at the top of the cornsnake forum page, Cornutopia, Cherryville Farms, or South Mountain, to view pix of their cornsnakes. But be warned, there are TONS of different morphs to look at. As the other poster said, a cornsnake IS a ratsnake, but not all ratsnakes are cornsnakes. Kind of like a Labrador is a dog, but not all dogs are Labradors.
