Beware of Commies and Mutts!
Oh please don't post this stupidity. Stick to the sites that claim the moon landings were faked -- at least that's relatively harmless idiocy.
Hermann,
If you want to come on here and post controversial thoughts related to snakes, that is one thing and intelligent debate is certainly welcome. HOWEVER, the original post is a MEMORIAL for the THOUSANDS of people who lost their lives on Sept. 11, not a thread opening up discussion on why 9/11 happened or who was responsible. That is NOT THE PLACE for you to spread possible conspiracy theories suggesting that the American government planned to kill all of those people so they could have a justification for war and that anyone who believes that Al Queda is responsible for the attacks has "nothing between their ears." It is probable that MANY people who frequent this forum knew and loved at least one person who died, was hurt or at the very least, was forever scarred by running for their lives on 9/11, and your posting that garbage here is just plain insensitive and inappropriate. Think about how your post might be effecting people before you press enter!!
Hermann you should be glad I don't moderate this board! I'd ban you permanently!!! just recently you were informed of an "Off Topic Forum" here at K.S. where you can post your garbage,to your little black hearts content! why do you come back here with this crap? is it contempt,or,just a thick skull? or,have you run out of conspiracy theories concerning boas?!
Nicely put. That's the second time he posted that toilette paper.
My Dear brother Hermann,
I can clarify for you on what to think of the site that you posted the link for, It is lies being put forward by an ungrateful European Union and their Arab benefactors. Why do I call them ungrateful, well with France it is fairly obvious their entire way of life is in place only due to the sacrifices of the Allied Forces of WWII and the Major part of that sacrifice was put forth by the USA. Of Course England and several other countries took part in fighting off the Nazi aggression, but it was the lives of 50,000 American young men that gave the French back their way of life. As history shows, the are a lay down and wait for the world to help, us kind of people with out the where with all or courage to defend their own lands let alone their beliefs. But what would the Germans people have to be grateful from the US, England and Other Nato Countries? Well, it was the Nato countries (and once again the US) that prevented Germany from being giving over to the Soviet Union as a spoil of war in WWII and it was the US that fought so many unpublished battles to keep your countrymen Free until the US led collapse of the Soviet Union.
And for all this sacrifice and spilled blood on the behalf of the French and the German, what does the US get in return. We get trade for a few barrels of Iraqi crude oil. The European Union Whored itself out for oil instead of standing up for any form of human rights. From the French, it is to be expected, they are a third world country in both intelligence and pride and are only as industrialized as they are because of the intervention we provided for them. The German countrymen, however should have known better and learned from History and their own mistakes. The turned their back and allowed Hitler to take control of their country and commit human atrocities on a scale never before seen, they suffered greatly for that mistake with 50 years of international sanctions and a life time of Hitler references. But alas they too not only chose to ignore the crimes in Iraq but attempted to prevent international intervention? All for the sake of crude oil.
Now you post this inflammatory conspiracy site that claims that the hijackers were not of Arab decent? Everyone knows the names of the Highjackers and their Nationality (mostly Saudi Arabia, the worst of the terrorist states and one that the US government is reluctant to take on for some unknown reason). You state that you do not know what to think? Hermann, we are the same and this was posted to make an issue, what you should think is simple, how do you let your own German Government whore out their principles and their own righteousness for the cost of a barrel of crude oil?
I watched that day, Tuesday September 11, 2001. I saw it live as the second plane crashed into the tower of the Trade Center Building. I watched as people threw themselves out of the building from 80 stories up because they could not get out alive. I watched the thousands of my Countrymen Murders by Arab Terrorist, (just as many other countries have fallen victim to the same Arab terrorist in the past, surely you remember the 70’s and all the airline Highjackings back then?) I watched, as dozen of my fellow police officers and brethren Fire Fighters gave their lives to try and help the innocent victims on that day, I watched it all from my Squad room, and then I responded to a traffic accident in where a young boy was killed. I remember that day as if it were yesterday, and always will, and I take issue with all of those who do not support our fight to rid the world or terrorism. I pray that you will never have to have such an event come so close to your home. I pray that you and your countrymen will always have the luxury, that was provided to them, of sitting back and criticizing those that it has happened to, but if history is a judge of things to come, then you too will have the reality check that hit the United States Of American on the Morning of 9-11-01. God help you country when it does, but if god does not, please rest assured that the USa will be their for you even now!
Jim Hopkins
Again the different mentality of the people in Europe and the U.S. becomes obvious. Let me write some lines of explanation and then finish this topic.
First of all I would like to thank Hoppy for his moderate reply. This is the way how a discussion should place: Controversary, but not hostile.
Okay, then let us move on:
I was attacked because I posted off topic. Did I start this thread? No. This thread was already off topic. Or have you found the word boa or even reptile in it? If I am not allowed to contribute to an off topic thread than please inform me.
All I read was Holy Indignation, but no one cared to utter reasonable thoughts about some contradictions that surely exists. The fact that the selling of airline shares several days before 9/11 was more than 90% above normal level was issue of a detailled discussion in the medias here. Some important people seemed to have a knowledge before the attack. An investigation was announced, but the outcome has never been published.
I think you guys in the U.S. are to gullible to your government. I sense a exaggerated patriotism that is lacking critical mind. It is similar to the attitude of the Germans during the Nazi era. THIS IS NOT A COMPARISON OF THE US GOVERNMENT TO THE HITLER REGIME.
But what we have learned in Germany from this era is to be careful in believing what we are told.
You have already been cheated by your government regarding Iraq. They faked reports and went to war in Iraq even they knew that Iraq is not involved in terrorism, has nothing to do with 9/11 (the terrorist have been sponsored by Saudi Arabia as you can read in the New York Times today) and no weapons of mass destruction have been found. But thousands of innocent civilians lost their lives there.
Are Saddam and his sons cruel dicators? Yes. Is it fine that they have been removed? Of course.
But there are similar dictators all over the world and the fact that Saddam was cruel was surely not the reason that the war took place. Meanwhile the true reasons gradually turn out.
Are the German and the France governments better than yours? Surely not. They all cook their own dirty soup. But the people in Europa have learned to watch them with distrust instead of shouting Hurray to everything they decide.
In Germany the intelligence service was involved bombing a semifinished new prison facitility about 20 years ago. People who believe that the intelligences of the powerful countries are boarders are just naive.
People who think that politicians are boarders are also naive (just think about Watergate).
Meanwhile it is a topic in the medias that the attack could have been prevented if the work of the intel would have been not as sloppy. Was it sloppy? Or did they decide to let it happen because it's a fine opportunity to take care of some issues that are in the interest of the U.S.
Impossible you say? I have learned in my life that nothing is impossible. Nothing can surprise me.
I don't want to offend the victims of 9/11 with my posting nor do I want to offend the people in the U.S.
Also I don't want to claim that it is right what is posted in the link.
I just wanted to point out of some contradictions that makes people here in Europe thinking (I am not the only one). Nothing more and nothing less.
A contributor to this thread uttered I should be banned for posting this link. I am amazed about this understanding of democracy. What I admired most on the U.S. is that everone can say everything. This is not the case in Germany. Here we can still learn from you.

Beware of Commies and Mutts!
And agree that there is a different mind set to those of us in the USA and those in Europe and I understand your distrust of government, any government, they do dirty things and cover them in righteous words.
I even agree that Iraq probably had nothing to do with 9-11. They are two different issues that were blended for the sake of public opinion. In my opinion, Iraq and it’s people are one of the most westernized Arab nations. As such one would consider them to be a strong US ally, except for the fact that they were led by an insane dictator who killed people at his will. Do western governments kill, of course they do, but they are combatants (i.e. Drug Cartell members, intelligence agents and others that conflict with or oppose that governments interest) The regime in Iraq killed innocents, entire villages, anyone on the street who happened not to agree with a certain policy, woman, children, elderly and the young all fell victim to this insane ruler. He should have been taken out back with the first Gulf War, and George Bush Sr. made the mistake of letting world opinion influence his decision. Luckily his son is not so easily swayed. He does have that Texas swagger and will not be told what to do by those who refuse to provide a constructive solution to a problem. It is for a person/government to sit back and criticize the actions of another, what is not so easy is to take action itself.
Were Sadame and Osoma in connection with each other….. Probably not. Were there terrorist training camps in Northern Iraq…. Probably so, but not because it was a state sponsored camp, more then likely because it was an isolated area that was centrally located. Am I regretful that both Iraq and Afghanistan were both fallen with in two years by US military aggression….. Not in the least, I say “ North Korea, get your act together or suffer the wrath!”
The US has paid blood money to these countries for decades to try and keep the peace. North Korea was collecting a five million dollar per month paycheck from the US plus oil from the US for not producing nuclear weapons, they got greedy and felt the US should pay them more to keep themselves peaceful. The US has the most powerful military the world has ever seen, and we were content to use it at the will of the UN as their “Strong Arm”. That is until a piss ant little group of third world thugs came and pulled our chain. They awoke the sleeping giant and now must pay for their arrogance. You don’t go bear hunting with a sling shot, you may sting the bear, but he will become angry for it!
We the people of the United States of America are ANGRY! We will have our retribution and god help those who get in the way!
Whew! Boy do I feel better now!, now that I am done ranting, I have no idea what you are referring to about the airline Stocks? I was too busy watching my country get attacked to check the stock quotes that week. But I have no doubt that there was a huge amount of activity on it. The Saudis, have massive interest in the US markets and I have no doubt that they knew about the incident ahead of time and sold off many stocks which would have caused a lot of activity. One of the ideas of the attack was to through our markets into chaos, and it did for a little while. So it does not surprise me to hear that there was unusual activity, and I am sure that market activity is now used as an indicator as a prelude to an attack by our intelligence community.
Does our government do dirty things… yes, remember Bill Clinton, A presidential hummer is not a SUV, that is for sure, and that was the least of the Dirty SOB’s laundry list of improper activity. I would not have ever voted for him, I never thought he was even a respectable person, but I would have giving my life defend him, for it is not who he is, but it is what he was. He was the President of the United States and as such he stands for our country. If the People of the United States wanted him out, they could have voted him out, it is not the prerogative of some third world terrorist to take out OUR President or attack our land!
Thanks for reading
Jim Hopkins
bravo!!! I'd vote for you for president. E-mail me if you're thinking of running.
Hermann,
I am a law student so I am fairly familiar with American freedom of speech (which you mentioned at the end of your post), as well as the other rights and freedoms afforded to Americans. I am also a human being, and as such I subscribe to the belief that just because I have a right to say something doesn't always mean I should say it.
While you might have a right to post that on this forum, my post to you is basically questioning why you would? And if you feel the need to post that, why post it there? Tom McCarthy's original post was a memorial to people who lost their lives or loved ones on that day, and the people who risked their lives trying to save them, and your response is to suggest that it could have all been a plot by the U.S. Government???? This is NOT the same as a debate over the validity of the war in Iraq, or crossbred boas. Some things, you should just leave alone, or PUT THEM IN THEIR PROPER PLACE, Hermann. Instead of coming on here with a response trying to JUSTIFY your insensitivity with statements that would supposedly support these conspiracy theories and ONCE AGAIN stating how blind you think Americans are to what our government does, why don't you reread the original post and then really consider whether yours was an appropriate response?
A thread about the memorial of the victims is not the proper place for this posting.
I didn't wanted to offend the victims or their relatives and friends. I just wanted to learn about your opinions as to this link that included some points that made me think about it.
Although there has also been German victims, we have a by far more distant relation to this event as the people in the U.S.
You are not as accustomed to major attacks as the Europeans unfortunaly are due to two wars on their territory (nothing remained, just a moon landscape).
I should have considered your feelings before posting the link. I lacked sensibility and therefore I apologize.

Hermann,
Thank you for the apology. I can understand your curiosity about our opinions on the subject, but to us it is still a very fresh and ongoing wound. I would be glad to answer any questions that you have via e-mail on the subject. That way your questions will not be taken as inflammatory. Now I can only give you my own thoughts and opinions, I am not a political person, I am one who takes orders and acts without question, so I may not be the best source of info for you, But I would gladly answer any questions about my thoughts on the subject, but I think they are very clear on my post LOL. Either way thanks for understanding our point of view on this issue.
Jim Hopkins
apology accepted. Thank you for being a big enough person to offer it.
Sincerely,
Amanda
I couldn't agree more! Well said.
>>>> Again the different mentality of the people in Europe and the U.S. becomes obvious.
Yes -- apparently you're morons and we aren't.
Just because you Germans were stupid enough to elect a homicidal maniac, don't project your inadequacies on us. The same gullibility that had you cretins doing the Nazi salute for all those years is precisely why you give any credence at all to this absurd propaganda.
Just to be clear, I don't like Bush one bit, and opposed the war on Iraq. Bet there's a major difference between clear-headed skepticism and the need to entertain every bizarre conspiracy theory propounded by some dumbass on the Internet.
... I got used to harsh replies and reprimand. This is perfect acceptable since I am also a firm supporter of a direct language.
But replies like yours with name calling just expose your poor upbringing. Nothing more and nothing less.

Beware of Commies and Mutts!
Herman, how exactly are you prepared to justify the superiority of your upbringing when compared to mrci's? Can it be shown, at long last, that you are a proud a member of the Master Race? Now that is a theory I can believe, especially when we take into account the effects of human inbreeding and its positive correlations with birth defects and mental retardation.
Shouldn't you be scouring the German countryside for half-frozen rats to save?
Actually, in this case, it's justified. You seem to confuse support for a goverment action with being "blind" and to confuse skepticism with entertaining ludicrous theories. That link you posted certainly fits the description mrci provided; it's put up by some dumbass with an ax to grind. Being a skeptic means I question weather or not Bush is using Iraq to attract attention away from his (lack of a) domestic agenda (yes, he is). It does not mean I need to give any consideration to a theory that, less than a year into his office he pulled off what would amount to mass murder, and the biggest intelligence coup in history!
Just because we think that Iraq needed to be taken out doesn't make us blind, which is what you've been insinuating for the last two weeks (or however long this has been on). To support one action, or even the general course, of the government does not imply stupidity or a lack of critical though. I myself support fully the war in Iraq, and think we need let it be known that you don't attack the US.
That said, I am probably one of the most cynical guys you'll ever speak to, espically when my governments involved (my bumper says "Love your country; Fear your government"
. But, in this case, they acted in a manner most likely beneficial to the US, and probably most of the world. And really, giving any real credence to that moron's paper betrays a lack of knowledge; he got his facts all wrong (i.e. the construction of the twin towers, the flight school thing, some physics/chemistry--almost EVERYTHING).

Cornsnakes and kingsnakes and gophers oh my!
>>> (just think about Watergate).
Yes, lets think about Watergate for a minute. Lets think about what sort of lessons we can draw.
Watergate was a handful of guys carrying out an incredibly simple burglary in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, the "operation" failed, they got caught and the press spent the next two years tracing the crime, or rather its coverup, back to the president, who was forced to resign.
Now according the the propaganda you posted (and it _is_ nothing but propaganda, as the people who wrote it certainly aren't stupid enough to believe it) the 9/11 operation was carried out by U.S. government officials. Not a simple burglary, but the mass murder of thousands of Americans. Involving not 5 burglars but surely thousands of people in the government. Involving multiple airports and air bases, the air traffic control system, phantom airplanes, air force pilots, expert demolishion teams, the rescue and cleanup crews, medical examiners, etc etc etc, all coming off without a hitch in broad daylight.
What color is the sky on the planet you live on?
Just a casual perusal of this idiot's scenario reveals numerous absurdities:
1) Secret instructions issued by air traffic control to the aircraft. This is impossible. Such communications would have been overheard by other aircraft in the area.
2) The Pentagon was attacked by an F-16 or cruise missile rather than a commercial aircraft. Ridiculous. The Pentagon sits just off a major interstate highway, in plain view. It was around 9 in the morning on a week day. There were hundreds of witnesses to the collision. I actually know one of them.
3) Flight 93 was not hijacked, but an announcement was made that it was being hijacked. Again, absurd. Calls were made from this flight describing what the hijackers looked like, what sort of weapons they were using, etc.
4) A military jet rather than a commercial one, fired a missile into the north tower and then crashed into it. Really? In broad daylight in downtown Manhattan? Despite witnesses and videotape to the contrary?
I could go on, but this is too laughably easy. Apparently the German gullibility gene is alive and well.
You were attacked for posting stupid conspiracy theories knowing that it would piss people off. Take your trolling elsewhere.

JMHO, FWIW, YMMV.

You hit the nail on the head. He seems to have a sneaky system of taking shots then backpeddling.
where you are. If you did, you would probably just abuse it there, as we 'allow' you to abuse it here on 'our' forum.
If we didn't understood the concepts of democracy, you would have been banned the first time you annoyed most of us, which was a long, long, time ago. You are the one that is confused when it comes to democracy.
If you did love and 'understand' it, you would embrace it and not exploit it at every opportunity you have to do so.
if we didn't "understand", not "understood".
Sorry.
If you truly wanted to point out "some contradictions", then why didn't you just point out those contradictions instead of that whole ridiculous "conspiracy theory" load of insulting and condescending crap? I think the reason is obvious.
"Airline shares"? lol! Boy are you reaching! What's the matter Herman? Running out of ammo?
More crap about the airline shares? At the time I was dating an airline employee's daughter, and actually followed it a little. EVERYONE was selling stock of them because the two-three biggest were (United foremost, but Southwest, and Delta were also in bad shape) in massive trouble, and we all knew it. Their CEO's were (are) massively overpaid, service is horrible, and the economy was already in a downturn, which hurts airline businesses disproptionatly (all of the sudden, no one can afford the Euro trip, or Disney, so fewer flights by far).
All of the contradictions you mentioned are based on bad info and crap science. Really, you should know better. I disscussed some of them earlier, and don't feel like re-posting them.

This is the second time you threw this GARBAGE in our faces. This time in response to a truly patriotic post that obviously struck the Anti-American nerve in you. You couldn't possibly let that awesome post go without pooring salt in the wounds of the Americans, could you. Maybe others here will buy that apology bull, but I've read too many of your posts to fall for that facade. You are a creep and a coward for constantly taking shots at us and then trying to act the victim by retracting statements and apologizing after you've already pushed the knife in as far as it can go.
