sexing balls?

hi is there any way to properly sex a ball other then probing?

Nope, popping as newborn and then probing thereafter.

I have a question on this same topic. Since males wont become sexually mature until later on, will popping tell you the sex of a newborn BP as well? If not what method do you use to sex hatchlings? Thanks

Popping is perfect for hatchlings and there is a disticnt difference in males and females then. You must be very careful as the snakes are fragile and they like to wiggle and don't squeeze too hard it's a gentle rubbing motion. I think this site and a number of books have pics of female vs. male parts
