I finally broke down and will be purchasing a Thayeri. I just had to keep coming over here checking things out. And of course I'd see Thayeri pics and then I'd see some more thayeri pics. I couldn't take the punishment anymore, LOL When I receive him I'll post some pics. I'm picking up an 05 male from Tim Gebhard (Vivid Reptiles)

Hi Steve

Welcome to the club! Our purpose of our herping life here in this forum is to convert the common man into thayeri believers! hehe. Can't get any better than getting them from Tim G also. Looking forward on seeing you male's pics.

Thanks Jonell. I've seen your thayeri, as well as Johns (Jlassisters), Vichris, and many of the others on this forum. Belive me, it doesn't take much to convert someone into a Thayeri fan with some of the gems you guys work with and produce. And I have to agree with you on Tim G. I have other species of snakes I've purchased from him, so I know how good is stock is.

...that you may have just made a HUGE mistake? You had better start saving up now because you are going to end up with at least a dozen or more of these things! Welcome!

Mike

2003 Jonel Lopez produced female thayeri. I love the bold, high-contrast pattern on this snake...

Thanks Mike. I can understand the addiction. No two Thayeri are alike. Every single one of these guys has their on color as well as pattern and head markings, etc. Your Thayeri from Jonel is a beauty.

LOL, Welcome to our disease.

That wouldn't be lmtM2337 that you just bought from Tim G. would it? If it is I can see you already have a keen eye for these gems. Like Mike said better start saving your pennies for more of these guys. Your going to NEED more. LOL

Congrats Steve.

Thanks Chris. Someone else purchased lmtM2337. I'm purchasing lmtM2443, that Tim has on hold for me. The golden leonis male with the orange head, and red saddles/ markings. I figure if I want more kingsnakes, I need to slow down on purchasing too many Eastern and florida kings. You run out of room will quick with those brutes, LOL
I'm looking forward to my first Thayeri, and I'm sure I'll have a few more before it's over with.

Even a 12-step program can't help you. I called my Thayeri Anonymous “sponsor” once to talk me down from buying another Thayeri only to have him tell me to get him a pair too! At least you got a good start.
