Problem with breeding...

Colorfulcorns Feb 25, 2006 03:58 PM

I have a banded female that my snow is not interested in, she just shed about 3 days ago. I put them together and he doesn't act interested.
I'm waiting on my Blizzard female to shed, she has bulked up nicely and I hoping the snow will breed with her.
Thanks for any help

Last year I added a second male ball python and that did the trick. Maybe add a male, be sure he does not actually mate and pull him out. Or put both males together in a separate container, so they get in the mood. Might help?

good luck as alwasy

Try misting the cage once you put them together. I have found this stimulates the male as it spreads the pheremones from the female around.
