Best pre-made cage for a BRB

zodiacbrb Feb 26, 2006 08:48 AM

Since tax season is in full bloom, I'm going to buy my BRB a nice new cage. So far the best deal to me has been either Boaphile or Constrictorsnw cages. The $199 shipped cage from boaphile would be nice but it's only 4'x2'x11.5" hardly anything for a BRB(height wise). So then I go to Constrictorsnw cages and for $250 shipped I get a 4'x2'x14". So I'm definately leaning towards thier white cage. I'm looking for something very reasonable in price and that would suit my BRB and it's humidity needs. Also right now my BRB loves to climb, so for people with adult, do they still climb when they are older? If you use pre-made custom cages for your BRB's please tell me what you find to be the best price for a good quality cage. Thanks. Here is a picture of her on the day I recieved her. She has grown alot since then, thanks to your advice about the mouse I was feeding her was too small, she is now eating a live adult mouse weekly. I still haven't gotten her onto F/T but I hope to soon. I will try to chain feed with a live pinkie and F/T fuzzy each week till she takes F/T.

While all my adults do lay around on the floor, they do climb up and down through the connecting pipes in my breeding cage. I think a boaphile would be fine. I believe mine are only climbing to thermoregulate and find each other.
