I just watched that Big Squeeze everyone was talking about a few months ago.
Although it was leaning tward the "Man eater" theme, which i dont agree with. It does show alot of Real Mistakes people make when owning a large constrictor.
The one part about the guy cleaning his cages and forgot to wash the chinchilia smell off him and got bit and wraped, reminds me about what happened to me two days ago. I tended to the rabbits and rat's that day , i had tended to the snakes the day before.
I was tired and hot (It was in the 90's friday)And i happened to walk by the snake cages and i noticed that one had Pooped in it's water.
Without thinking , since i was done with my other chores and wanted to go sit in the A/C, i started for the keys to unlock the cages , and right when i got the key in the lock , i remembered , I havent washed up yet. I smelled my hands and sure enough , I smelled like rabbit and rat more than some rabbits and rats do.
I now have a reminder of everything that should be done hanging right under the keys for the snake cages , i scan down it to make sure i'v done everything i should do every time i pick the keys up.
It might shound silly but it will help me from making a mistake and end up like the guy on the show.
And the show gave alot of info that people give here on the boards , If they would just drop the "Man Eater" Theme that i talked about before , i think it would be a Verry informitive Show.
