Major Ooops... Sunbeam is on the loose

ETChipotle Jul 27, 2003 01:21 PM

Well I took the little guy out for some sunning and outdoor pictures, and he's now safely under the next door neighbor's house. It's a hot partly cloudy day here, so I'm hoping after awhile he'll come out and sun himself. Maybe I can catch him. Or maybe I'll never see a sight of him again.

I'm a little worried about the cat though, I guess I'll try to keep her in.

At least he has a chance to survive awhile if nothing eats him. Its warm and there are lots of grasshoppers now finally.

Later in day when ya know he will sleep, do you have access to where he is? I would not tak emy eye off him, if he leves that spot, you will never know where he goes !!

But maybe I can still remove it and then put it back when I've got him...

He's fairly wary of me. If I come too close he scoots back under. My cat goes under that porch all the time. It's too low for me to go under though.

I might try to noose him. I've never done that before.

You know us folks in Minnesota have a good feel for a fishing pole... I've never noosed a lizard before in my life.

Sunbeam is back in his cage.

Good thing he has such a big head

You have a good arm for a fishing pole hunh? I have several fishing poles, fresh and salt, I always liked sitting back fresh water fishing, very relaxing. Until I starting having a large tank of BIG fish such as Oscars dempsy's terrors, so on... they get so friendly, eat out of my hand, now I feel very badly GOING FISHING !!!! Eve
