hello there, i have just got a new beardie last tuesday and i think it is about 3 months old it is about 10cm big not including the tail. i have been feeding it crickets, worms and some salad. the beardie has only been eating on average 2-3 crickets and a bit of salad a day. it seems that it has lost some weight. any suggestions on what i can do.

important things that pop into my mind are:

1) do you have UVB lighting?
2) what are your temperatures?

basking temp sould be around 115 F.

how big are the crickets that you are feeding it? if the crickets are relatively large, than 2-3 could be okay.

also, the dragon may be going into a shed and they won't eat as much until the skin falls off.

The dragon is 10cm, what is that, about 6". There is no way you should be feeding crix that are relatively large unless you want to guarentee an impaction. Nothing larger than the space between their eyes. He's probably just settling in still, make sure you keep him hydrated and keep offering as many as he'll eat in a 10-15 minute period 3-5 times per day, he should pick up soon.
