I have 2 madagascar panther geckos, one "The Dude" has been with us for about a month now and is a great lizard, very ok with being handled and a good eater. Recently we got a female, after a while when we were sure she was ok, we introduced them on neutral ground, she is about 3/4 of an inch larger than he is. We put them together in his terrarium (20 gal) yesterday. They don't seem to notice eachother a lot, they are both sub-adults. I am wondering if putting them together at this point is ok? Also, she is usually on the opposite end of the tank from him, where there is not a basking light or heat pad under the tank, I am wondering if she prefers it cooler, or if I should add anther heat source for her and have mid-tank serve as the cooler area?
Thanks for feedback!
