Working on the pics.....

Well, these poor little guys didn't earn a place in the week in review, but I'm sure they'll be fine-lol! This is one of the motleys born Feb. 13th. I took everyones tips from my last post and tried to put them together for better pics. The first pic is a basic point and shoot prior to their first sheds. The second shot of the SAME snake, was taken today in Macro mode from about 3 feet away, off to the side of the sunlight coming through a window. I set the white balance to the shade setting. I think I ended up with a bit too much flash, but think the focus is getting a tad more precise???? Thanks to everyone for their replies. Take care!

These are from the C.A. line of motleys. This litter is from the 02 male motley James and I picked up from Alex B.(Boa Republic). Alex had bred his female CA Motley to an EBV male that year producing 50% CA motleys. We bred this male back to a pure Central American to produce this litter, making these babies 75% Central American. Just thought I'd mention the background in case you look at the pics and wonder where all the lateral striping is at. The CA motleys seem to be more variable than the Col. line but both lines have their stand outs and so-so animals in every litter. But, both lines produce awesome supers regardless of how the motleys themselves look! Thanks again to everyone offering tips helping me out with my poor photo skills. I'll keep working on it! Take care
