I just hatched 2 U. lineatus babies, and have a couple more on the way. A local pet shop owner offered to buy them, I was wondering if anyone knew what a reasonable going price would be, or at least some place I can look? I'd appreciate any help.

I am doing the same with fimbriatus, henkels, and lineatus. The last c.b. babies I saw were 6 wk. old going for $115.oo near three years ago from a friend who was breading them. Let me know the outcome.

not to rain on your parade, but you guys should seriously consider advertising these animals for people who can actually breed them.
a petstore would be my absolute last resort to sell any CB animals, ESPECIALLY uroplatus.
i have a list of about 20 people who are looking for CB leaftails, and it gets bigger all the time.
either you guys aren't looking hard enough to sell your animals to the appropriate people, or you just want to make a buck quickly.
i know this may sound rude, but you should really be looking out for the animals you are getting rid of, especially if it comes to a species that is more difficult to breed, and experienced hobbyists are looking for the animals at the moment.
please email me if you are looking for a contact list, or more information on my post.
i just really hate to see WC uroplatus go to a pet store where they are going to die, let alone CB uroplatus which are much more uncommon and more valuable in the trade.
i have to agree. selling leaftails to a pet store just isnt the right thing. furthermore, selling hatchlings that likely arent even guaranteed stable, healthy, and feeding. im not trying to make a crack about your animals or your ability to breed healthy animals one bit. but there are ethical issues, both on your side and the pet store's side when making transactions such as this.
last pet store i saw carrying any uroplatus had an adult henkeli in a 10 gallon tank with 3 adult phelsuma standingi. are you sure the pet store is going to know what to do with these animals?

Sorry, I didn't mean to get everyone in an uproar, I guess I should have clarified things a little more. First off, the petstore guy is actually the guy who got me into geckos in the first place, he breeds Henkli and gargoyles. Second he didn't want these to sell, he wanted them for his own personal collection. On the whole I think he's a pretty good caretaker, but then how well can we really know anyone. As for the health of the animals, they change color like mad, both move around a great deal and have consumed on the order of 10 dozen crickets in the first 3 to 4 weeks. I can already see them getting bigger, and their bodies are starting to catch up to their heads. As for trading or selling to people who breed CB uroplatus, I'm all for it, someone will just have to point me in the right direction. I appreciate all the help and concern.
Also, here's a picture of one of the babies at a darker moment

Very pretty little girl I think. It's hard to see from side view. I would love to give any assistance needed.
Well here's a couple more images to give you an idea of the two, it's really neat how they each already have their own personality.

Guess those were all of the narrow striped one. Heres another of the wider striped one, which I always seem to catch with their tail down. Also the mother. She's a big ol gal (10 inches or so)

the reason i brought up the whole pet store deal was to make sure you weren't going to be selling them to some chain pet store or something.
i just wanted to point out that you should try to looking for the animals you are getting rid of.
you may want to post something in the uroplatus subcategory of the gecko forums. you will get more responses there.
nice little male and female you've got there though, they look great, congratulations and good luck with them.
thanks for the clarification. i was just a bit worried from the first post and thought i should say something about it.
also, there is a uroplatus sub forum if you haven't noticed...
