you mean to sit hear and tell me you KNOW they tame down with consistent handling, yet you can't tell me the max size?so obviously you have never had any experience with an adult, but you KNOW they know they will calm down, and become docile.hhmm....i'm sad.

im sorry hun... i did not MEAN to make u all... whatevr mood. lol im not really a "lizard person" im just a snake guy who works at petco. got 22 snakes. even though i do own an Ornate nile which is my baby, 4 feet now 2 years old. some people just dont understand how lizards think. when people say "oh you gotta first make eye contact to establish dominace over the lizard" go right ahead if u want to get whipped in the face. they are not dogs or other heiarchy animals in that sense. the less eye contact with the tegus the nicer they are.(in some cases) also i hate when peopl try to completly restrain things when they hold them (no wonder why they get bit) it just pisses me off alot that people have these ways of thinkin they can tame these thing when it just dosnt do a damn thing.

......that makes complete sense.

he has handled it frequently and it has calmed down and become more tame, but he can't hop in his time machine and see how big the thing gets.
