I appreciate the thought, but there are a lot of awesome breeders of bulls. We just happen to have an addiction to them LOL

There are a lot of breeders of fine bulls out there. It all depends on what you want. I did get this nice Tx. bull from Cherry back in late 2002. I had always wanted a Tx. bull with a lot of pattern detail and found the perfect one at his table at a Tx. show. Took forever for me to pick out one as they were all so killer.

Take care!

Billy was that one of the het bulls. It sure is shopwing a lot of light color on the sides. I can't remember what you bought that day.

Hey John,

Yes, that is one of het albino bulls bred from an albino male to a normal female that looked much like her. She is doing quite well, and is over 3 years old and about 4 feet. She is now at the stage where her girth is increasing, but she is not fat at all. I enjoy owning her so very much, as she is also a big sweetheart.

This question has been brought up before, but let me ask you this John: Are hets, a lot of the times, better looking than normal phases that are not het? Have you seen any noticable difference in your experience?

Billy,

In multiple het animals there is a noticable difference ( much lighter nad brighter). But in normal single het animals, we have not seen that much difference.

Thanks for the info John! I really appreciate it!

So since my female is het for albino, if I bred her with my hypo TX bull, I would get double hets for albino and hypo? And if I bred her with my ghost bull, would I get double hets for albino and ghost?

Very nice albino bull! Awesome coloration! Looks very similar to the female I picked up this past Daytona.

I just got three nice Texas Bulls from John Cherry. (Thanks John!)
One of them is extremely spirited,it's like owning a street legal rattlesnake! VERY nice looking normals. I'm hoping she will mellow out as time goes on. She is ferociuos at only 2' long, just strikes the flat of my hand(no purchase)it would be no fun if she was 6'! I would reccomend John.
Bob.

You should be ashamed for picking on that poor little defensive snake, you big giant LOL.

I am sure she will mellow with age, try shifting up things in her cage as far as positioning her hide, traffic in the area etc. You would be amazed at when things change in a cage how much it can upset some bulls. I have a huge female that if her hide box is not positioned with the door to the front of her cage in the back right corner, she freaks out, stops feeding, will not let you handle her etc. Change the cage around and put it back the way she wants it and she is no problem at all. She sits in the door of her hide box watches the world go by and all things are good with her.

One of the things I enjoy about pits is they are so aware of the surroundings they live in, but sometimes that can be a pain.

By the way thanks for the kudo's I am glad you like your bulls.

Bob,
Glad you finally got your pits!!! Don't worry about the aggressiveness--if you had to hang out with John day in and day out you'd be ornery too!!!!LOL Truth be told you bought your Bulls from the best!!!! Enjoy!!!! Oh, and John, those two Axanthic Bulls I got from you are clearly Satan's spawn but I love 'em anyway!!! Just have to keep them hidden from the wife!!! And keep asking forgiveness for the deception!!!!

white sided bulls, the photo was taken for me by Don Soderburg. That is the reason the quality of the picture is so much better than my normal ones, photographer I am not LOL. But that is an example of a bell line and a trubower line white sided bull. Pretty dramtic difference isn't there.
