New baby blood feeding Q's

kujo Feb 26, 2006 06:17 PM

I just got a new '05 male sumatran blood that doesnt seem to want to eat. I have 2 other bloods but have never had a problem with them eating. Could someone give me a couple pointers on how to get a baby to start eating?

try lightly tapping the back end of the blood with the feeder. for some reason this action initiates a feeding response in bloods.if that doesnt work try changing the feeder type (rat pups instead of mice...mice instead of rat pups etc.

Thanks for the tip. Fortunately, he went after a rat pup last night.
