xNeViNx Feb 26, 2006 06:19 PM

my friend just bought 2 red eyed tree frogs yesterday. everything is setup the way it needs to be. this morning he woke up and looked at them. one had a purplish tint and was sitting on the ground. the other is fine and sitting up in the leafs. ive never herd of a tree frog turning that color. is that normal, or is something wrong?
thank you

i don't know exactly what triggered it, especially cause the other one was fine, but sometimes when fogs(especially treefrogs) are under stress or it is too dry they turn a different color. it could be because you just fot it and it was stressed, good luck!
