Here is my first clutch of the year and its 11 eggs. This female has been a great breeder. Here is her history

7 eggs laid 3-17-04(7 normals hatched)
12 eggs laid 2-17-05(8 pastels and 4 normals)
11-eggs laid 2-26-06(11 will see's)

2400 grams after laying 11 eggs(1180grams) on 2-26-06. and she fed on 2-28-06. That's pretty good for a female but then again she has always been that kind on feeder, the first year she fed the day before she laid her eggs. To think she was only a 65.00 female 3 years ago when I got her and she was an adult. thanks David

I remember last year Only missed it by one this time. What did you breed her to ?

She was bred to a few different males so it will be like christmas when the eggs hatch, You just don't know what is gonna come out. But she does have a chance to produce Pastels, Yellow bellies, or Cinnamons. The daddy should be one of the three and if I get real lucky I will have a mixture of the three but I am not holding my breath for that to happen. But really my guess would be yellow bellies since he bred her the most. Thanks David

That's great! What did you breed to her this time? I would keep any females you produce from this big girl, even normals. She is strong blood, that amount of eggs three years in a row is incredible.
I have a handful of various females that came from clutches of 19, 15, and 14. The clutch with 14 also had twins, 2 blonde pastels. I have all the females from those clutches. A few blonde pastels, poss. het. ghost, and some normals. I hope once they get a couple of clutches under their belts they will produce some big numbers like their moms.

I bred her with several Different males this season. I started out with pastel males and then a yellow belly male and then a cinnamon. So looks like I will get a surprise clutch. It will be like Chrismas in 55 days I just won't know until they hatch... But if I had to guess I would say it will be a Yellow belly clutch since he bred her the most and the closest to the ovulation date. Thanks David
