can i only use a baskin light or is there some way to get like a flood light or somethin and also when feeding mealies how many do i feed and with what. plus do they eat anything?

you can use any household bulb as a basking light. regular indoor or outdoor floud lights are fine as well. the important thing is the light can raise the basking area temperature between 95-115F.

mealworms shouldn't be a stable insect for bearded dragons, especially y oung ones. they have high chitin and low 'meat' and the chitin is very hard to digest, if it digests at all. crickets would be better, or silkworms, roaches, butterworms or superworms [though s upperworms should not be a stable insect, as they are also pretty high in fat and chitin].

mealworms themselves can be fed on any grains, whole wheat, bran flakes, oaks etc
