Hognose questions

medyssa Feb 27, 2006 11:10 AM

I was given a western hognose for Christmas and last month he got out of his cage and I havent seen him since. I think he stuck around the house for a few days (my moms cats were going nuts) but I think he figured a way out through our laundry room. I am very sad about losing him, he had such a great personality, if that makes any sense, but I've never had a snake act like he did. I would like to get another soon and have seen one ad for Easten hognose babies.
How different are they from Westerns?
Also, I would eventually like to breed the hognose, but how complicated is it to do so?
I no longer see an ad for easterns on in the classified section, is there anyone here that has any?
Thanks for the help!
