Actually that might be a "Blue Eyed Blonde" not a Lavender Albino.
Mark, it looks to me like the eyes are normal colored... Someone offered me that in a trade and sent me that pic.

It isn't an albino, lavender, nor a Blue-eyed Blonde, but looks like a normal banded.
Kerby...
i'd have to agree, from that pic at least;i see a 'coastal' (brown/yellow,as opposed to desert phase-blk/white) phase cal king with some abberrancy to his bands in that they are very narrow...but i admit,i am not really a 'morph' guy.
Yeah, I was thinking something like that too. From pics it's always hard to tell, so I wanted to see what other's opinions were.

I don't think it is any morph either. Pretty cool looking though. The narrow bands are neat and it looks like it has pretty bright yellow.
p.s. can anyone please tell me,what the hell is a 'blue eyed blonde' phase?
Blue Eyed Blonde is a trade name for Tim Gebhart(Vivid Rptiles) strain of California King that is either hypo or lavender and supposedly not compatible with other strains. Thier name comes from thier blondish color, actually light brown, and they have blue iris'. They also tend to have bright yellow bands, a characteristic common in the locality in which the founder specimen was collected, the Elfin Forest near San Diego. Actually lots of the normals from that area have blue iris' too.
The Blue Eyed Blondes do have a ruby colored pupil so IMO they are a true morph of some sort.
You can check out Vivid Reptile on the breeders/dealers page here at kingsnake.com for more detailed info.
what is the guy representing it as? Its a funky lookin snake regardless of if its a morph or not!
