mexican/central american snappers?

has anyone here worked w/ any of these other snappers?if so,are they much different than the good old common snapper?are they just sub-species,or are they seperate species?does anyone breed them?if so,who?thanks for any help i can get! chris

I asked this question before, and found that they are four subspecies of common snapping turtles, and the central american animals are included in these. You can do a google search to find more, or go to one of the main turtle sites (chelonia.org I think?)

I worked with them in Central America... They are no different in care but take climate into consideration. Same foods, clean water, etc.
