I just last week had a king snake gave to me, When I got it, it seemed to be a little on the thin side and heavy in the blue. As time has past the shed has started to break loose in several spots. last night when I was looking closer at it in the spots where the shed was breaking loose it looked Almost like puss was just beneath the shed skin. I soaked it for about 15 minutes and the shed started coming off. And it was some kind of puss under the shed. After it had shed completely I looked again closer and in several places where I had seen the puss like ooze the skin between the scales seemed to be very red almost to the point of being inflamed. I have never seen anything like this and needed some thoughts on it. It hasnt affected it as it ate the rats last night. But would like yalls thoughts on it.........

, ive seen this in several w/c kings best advise is keep it warm and have plenty of hides,(as less stress as possible),since its eating keep feeding every 4-5days and it will probably shake it(blisters),in my experience some can shake it and will rapid shed cycle themselves to help this process along others however sometimes need a trip to the vet for antibiotics as it is a skin infection ,good luck and keep us posted
