I don't know what those skinks are, but I really don't think they are schneider's skinks. Schneider's usually have a blueish gray background with orangeish markings. Not all brown like those skinks. On the other hand, I've never seen juvenile versions. Do they look like that?

Sorry if I've offended you and I realize you're just trying to help, but I don't think those are schneider's.

Don't worry about it, you didn't offend me. Well the reason i thought it was a Schneider's was because on the original post trevor420 mentioned there was orange colouring on the sides of the skink. But maybe i'm wrong, i'm not to big with skinks i only have 1.

Thanks for the suggestions so far I appreciate them all. I went back to the store today and i was told specifically they are "garden skinks"...but that describes most every skink doesnt it?
So I took a couple new photos, they arent very clear because the camera I have to use sucks for close up...but they show size and color a bit better I think...anyways all the photos i have can be seen at the link below

Thanks Again!!

Hmmm, still not sure. If you can, try and get some pics from above. Pop them in a box, in the brightest room you can find in your house.
in the 4th pic (skinky) the head shape looks like that of a Berber Skink, be it E. Schneideri or E.S. Algerenis, but i wouldn't say a definate

The Dwarf Skink, (Scientific Name, MABUYA PLAINIRONS)
An African ground dwelling skink that lives in Africa's forrest's and rockey steppes, reaches up to 6 inches and eats small insects.

Thanks, I looked up some pictures of the dwarf skink and it looks exactly like one of mine. So thats what I think I'm gonna say it is. The one with orange on the sides almost looks like a Schnieder's skink but it is lacking the orange spots down it's back, so I still am unsure what it is...but if anyone asks im gonna say its a dwarf for simplicity lol

Thanks for all the reply's!!

I'm going to be building them a new enclosure soon so I'm sure I'll be back with plenty of new questions for everyone lol
