I saw my frog "yawning2 a lot and then he seemed to be eating some brownish gunk (he's not green, he's more earthy brown) Was this him shedding and is this a good sign?

more than likely it was shed.. it could have been that there was just some dirt in its mouth too. Either way, as long as everything else appears healthy/normal with the frog, I wouldn't worry about it..

Well he seems healthy enough, he's starting to get a little fatter. And he tried to eat the boyfriend the other night when he was changing his water 
So I am assuming there's nothing wrong with him.
