On a camping trip this weekend, my fiance caught a nice snake. Pretty tame, although it did hiss at him one time. He found him in the Nevada Mountains, near Ely. A slender snake, about 2.5 feet long. He thinks it may be a Gopher or a Rat Snake. I made a little webpage with a few pictures of the snake and linked it to this post, so please take a look.
