First did I understand you correctly that you lost a Ball too mites? If so when you suspect mites put a bird protector on top of the cage Ya! the samething you bie for birds will keep them and other external pericites away. and a Kenyan sand boa is not a hard snake to keep. I started one of my children on sands and one with a redtail and my yungest wonts a Burm. python. but all first snakes can be a chalange. just dont be afrade to ask questons. The only dumb quest. is the one you dont ask.
