Well what has everyone named thier chams, and what names do they like??

I have a Gwen and Arty because they were originally on a round table and were the Chameleons of the round table (cheesy i know)

Not sure how I came up with it.....I think I was lying in bed and it just came to me.

I watched the show Dexter's Labratory when I was a kid so maybe it was subconscience =)

My male veiled's name is Lucutis. It is an altered spelling of Locutus, from Star Trek (Locutus of Borg). I really like the sound of the name, and I really like Star Trek, so it works for me! LOL! I'm not a "hardcore" Trekky though, just a casual fan.

Anyone think Lief is to cheesy (since he blends right in)????

I love changing spellings of more common names/words (for instance, had a cat named Svette Lana, which was a twist on Svetlana)

My veiled cham, Luna (now gone ) got her name for 2 reasons. One she was the color of a luna moth (I raise them) and when I forst got her she used to climb to the top of her cage and walk in circles upside down once the light was out. I thought it was much like a moth drawn to a light and flying in circles (except she did it in the dark) so it just worked. Ended up a perfect name for my little girl...

O.k. here's my names-

Stitch- he came named that way... and it fits
Rana- means Frog in spanish-my granny used to sing me a song about frog tails, in spanish, when I was little.

Lou- is manly for Louise- my granny's name

Yosamite, becuase he was a hot-headed red head with little bow legs, shooting from the hips. Remindes me my Yosamite when he see's food

Angus- my new gecko. He's Angus cause he's a little beef

Beck and Juan are my dart frogs- they are named after me and my sister (Rebecca and Juanita) since she was visiting me when I got them.....

And Igaro- because he sings to me at night...

And Frumpy- because she's well.... frumpy.

My veiled is named Mr. Electric Ocean after a character in a song I like. Silly, I know, but the name kinda creeps me out, and when my guy gets mad, he gets me a little scared!(I'm such a wimp!)

I named my snapping turtle Snappy McSnappersons the One Who Snaps because....well, I shouldn't have to explain that one!

I won't go through all my other animals, but my favorite names are for Bumbles my cat(after bumbles the abominable snow man, cause he's white and fluffy) and T-Sex, my male leo, after a line spewed out by Jesse Ventura in the begining of the movie predator.

what about the roaches?? Ha ha, did you name them breakfast, lunch and dinner???? LOL.

Well, I didn't want to get too attached to the roaches, seeing as how they could become food one day, but the girl with the bad wing i've kinda adopted as a pet of sorts, and refuse to let her become food. I just haven't come up with a name for her yet! Any suggestions?

A chameleon named Monty. My hedgehog is named Alfred, after Hitchcock. Then my alligators are Bob and Bubba.

I did have a nice Rose hair tarantula but my cat Lucy knocked over the cage and the top came off. I never saw Frank again.
