My BP has been soaking in his water/humidity retreat for the past 3-4 days. Is this normal? Usually he only soaks overnight. He is getting ready to shed, but his eyes are not all that clouded anymore.

Right before a shed they will seek higher and higher humidity, also right berfore a shed their color will partially return and the eyes will clear.

yep, noticed 2-4 days after the eyes go clear they will shed. every snake is different though.
