Another Question

Hi again. I was wondering, it will take me a few weeks to get the two tanks to separate my two Cresties. For about two weeks, could I keep the female in a five gallon I have available? She has a snout to vent length of 4 inches and no tail. I was thinking of putting the eco-earth, a fake plant and some small branches in the tank with a small sanitized hide and water dish already in there, and setting up the temporary home soon. What do you guys think? Thanx Again!

female should be ok in the sm all tank for a week. or you can pick up a larger sterlite container and house her in that for the two weeks.

For a short period of time, it should be fine. I did have a male in a five gallon for a while because I couldnt' get my hands on a bigger tank. He was okay for a while, but after some time, he began to lose weight. He was certainly bigger than you're female though. He was fine once I put him in a bigger tank and gained back all the weight, so i believed the small tank took a toll on him.
