Regarding my FBT Tank:
I have had this one female for over 5 years. The males in her presence have changed over the years. Either way, they have always tried to breed with her, but nothing ever came from it, and she never really enjoyed it.
I have always kept them in a part water, part land set up. For the last 3 - 4 years, they have been in a 29 gallon tank. Always with at least 4 inches of water in half of the tank. Recently I set up a new false bottom set up. Half the tank is water, half land. The water is 10 inches deep throughout the tank, and in the land portion, it is raised just above the water level.
After 2-3 nights of intense (and very anoying) barking, I found little tadpoles all over the place. I have decided that it is in their best intrest to be kept there for now. I have added lettuce to the tank incase they get hungry. I will use fish food or something similar when they are done with their eggs (if they aren't already).
As soon as they get a little bigger, I will start transfering them to a 10 gallon tank. I am not concerned about canibalism at the moment.
I will have pictures and updats in the coming days!
