Would call her a snow?

icedearthgoddess Mar 02, 2006 12:41 AM

Here are four pics of her, two old and two new. She will hopefully be breeding soon, and we will know when the babies hatch, but until then it is a guessing game! Let me know what your opinions are of her... All comment welcome, unless they are really harsh...lol.

This is when she first came home...cute little thing!

This was about two months later I believe, some where around there...

And these are the most recent (as of 2-25-06)

Definately not a snow... a pretty normal but not a snow in the least. Snows maintain a white coloration or a very faded yellow and the black is different on a snow as well, a little more faded than that... Her adult pics definately show she's not a snow... her baby pics are just light..

Wow, that's funny becasue because both Alex and Mack saw the pics at a show and they said "It is a definate possiblity." I just wanted to see if poeple were going to yell at me and give me crap, saying that I have no idea what I am talking about, but thanks for your input I am back and forth, but I am hoping she turns out to be. She still has white coloration, you see it in her head and body. Her lack of major yellow coloration is pretty distinct. Take a look at some "high-color" snow and then compare her. She may not be a "high-white" snow, but she has a major possiblity.

Take a look at these for examples:
http://market.kingsnake.com/image/422286.jpg
This is by JMG Reptiles
This snow has a high yellow coloration and not purple/pink etc.

How bout this one?
http://www.geckosetc.com/images/avail/Available%20Pictures/MSM1_600.jpg
This one is by Geckos Etc. Also some yellow coloration.

Now I am not bringing this up because I want to start stuff I just wanted some honest reactions from it. Thanks for your input.

this is just my take on things....you have a good looking, healthy looking leo, but it is not a snow. it could be a possible het or something but you would have to know the parents. i did also see those leos being advertised as snows but i dont think they are, the parents may have been. there are also such things as A grade, B and C grade snows. A grade has no yellow just white, B has some yellow, and C has a little more but still very little. people say stuff like that to get you to look at what they are trying to sell or to fool you. it is kind of like saying the bottom piture is a tangerine or snow compared to my real tangerine in the first picture....
i hope what i wrote made sense its past my nighty night time.
