I have and love one of the older models. The one with the aluminum and nylon connectors

At any rate, Vision sent me an email when the new racks came out showing a lot of pictures of the new racks. I'm 99% certain that the boxes rest on the shelf below rather than running on track like they do with my rack.

But you should confirm this with somebody who has seen the new model or with Vision themselves.

I think Chris is right. I really like the older style like his that slides on the rails. I believe the new one slides on it's bottom. You can see it pretty easily on their site. They respond promptly at the Vision site if you have questions. Good luck. Bob.

The racks for the smaller boxes do not have rails simply because those boxes used do not have an adequate lip for rails, or the lip has supports that make rail use impossible.

The boxes slide on the shelf bottom, and the heat cable is recessed under the boxes.

Obviously the CB-70 boxes can use a rail-mount rack system, but Vision is using the bottom-slide design for these as well, I would guess to save on manufacturing costs.

I noticed that they were offering the rack as the best rack at the best price. I thought this was pretty brazen, until I started using my new Ball rack.

I looked all over the web for a cheaper CB 70 rack and couldn't find one and so far it really does look like the best rack available.

I really like the ability to custom haet each level individually and the the thing is built like a tank.

Supporting the tub from the bottom appears to eliminate the problem of the tubs sagging from the weight of heavy females.
