I have one of the 15qt vision racks. I really like it, easy to put together. The racks have guides on the sides. For the price of the rack I think its one of the best out there. I plan on buying more of there racks. The only thing is, you want to have a room that stays in the high 70s to have this rack work. Scott is really helpful and compared to most guys out there, always responds to an email with 24 hours.

Picked up the 32 qt recently for some subadults. Very nice, and cheap. Love the casters as I am always reconfiguring to make room.

Just curious if the rack (CB-70) can be split in half to make 2 smaller racks? If so, how much work does it take.

Thanks,
Chris

I don't think so. I believe the tops and bottoms are one piece.

Rack systems in the herp world are like electronics, as soon as you buy one they are working on a better system. Well in our opinion the new CB-70 rack from Vision is the best rack system on the market. The steel support poles along with the plastic shelves and PVC spacers make it the strongest, lightest system available. This new system dose not hang from sliding rails, there are raised runners that support the bottom of the tray. This stops the trays from warping or sagging. But the biggest reason we think this rack will surpass all of the existing rack systems is that it was designed for the future. The Vision CB-70 rack can be turned sideways and in stead of using 1 CB-70 tray you can use 2 trays that are sweater box size (half the size of a CB-70). There will also be 2 different size shoe boxes available. One level will hold 6 across or 4 across depending on the size you would like. This one rack will allow you to use 4 different size containers. These racks will also be inter lockable allowing you to connect them together and use a container large enough for larger reptiles. At this point a lot of this is still in the works, but the CB-70 rack has been designed to already accommodate all of these functions. So if you purchase one now you will not have to replace it later to upgrade. We are in the process of building a new facility and we will be switching over to the new Vision rack system. We are currently using some of the new racks and would be happy to answer any questions that you have about them.
