in the first pic you can see like a litle hole in his mouth i just noticed that. what could it be? i will try to get a pic of that son.

he has some really cool color and markings. Is the "two tone" typical of this species?

Don't see the hole you mentioned.

You can post up to three from the image link at bottom of post, just hold down the "ctrl" key while you choose your pics. If you have them elsewhere (or want to post more from gallery) you can paste the location (URL) where they are with at the end of each. Does that make sense? :-0

nice colors on that guy! He may be just needing some time to get adjusted to his new surroundings as far as the not eating.

How long have you had him, I forgot from your last post, sorry?

I really like him, hope he does well for you!

finally he discovered the rest of the cage!!! now hes on one ficus. what is the relax coloration of this specie?

WillHayward Mar 03, 2006 12:30 PM

Unless I am mestaken, you have a Furcifer Verrucosus. Giant Spiny or Warty Chameleons.

One of the larger species where males reach almost 2 feet in length. Colour/pattern varies. Gray, beige, brown. More beautiful colourations include greens, blues and yellows.

Looks like its relaxed.
