I couldn't brumate my corns this year. I live in a dorm room, there is simply no way to get it cold enough to brumate and live. I placed my hypo striped with my female (either oketee, or pretty normal) last week, and left them together for a while, but there was no action. I fed the female last night, than placed her back in with the male. He immediately took interest. I'm not sure if actaul mating occured, but he was certainly interested, and she didn't run away.

I had the feeling that it wouldn't work out this year, and I don't want to count eggs before they're laid, but this is very encouraging.

In short, I'm happy. Thanks for the advice everyone here has given me in the past year or so.

Many snakes have clutches without brumation. I hope everything works out for you. Remeber to keep introducing them, and eventually you will catch them when they are both "in the mood". I do not know if anyone suggested this to you before, but put both snakes in a sterilite (or similar) container -sweater size or larger- , line it with news paper. This way if there is a mating, you will know by the "wet spot". Hope this helps.
good luck
