Howdy, I've post and have been emailed several times about how I can make red heat lights cheap. But I did it for me, and I used command sense. Obvious to me you have to let them "CURE". The offgas expert will know what that really means.
I still plan to do husbandry stuff at some point(way later). Hard to explain why not know, but I'm just not ready. Simply stuff must of us can do, or come in here for. For for the lazy and ones with people with 6 thumbs I hope to make a enough money to take my wife to The corner restaurant once a month.
OK, enough of that, I "cure" my bulbs by running them. Away from critters of course, and a week to a month, bepends how lazy I get.
1 this is not a good sales pitch, burning up a bulbs life span,.For production I was going to run at 1/4 power just for heat, at that wattage, no real loss.
2 and most important, I'm not sure when the bulb is offgased?
I just use a few here and there, and not in enclosed cages.
Is there any easy way, to be sure the bulb is safe?
So Mr. Offgas, please step forward!
If it's Hank Hill, I will *#@*
