Wouldn't her snake be considered a Low White Pied???? I have the Hunters Guide to Balls but get a little confused when it comes to true het markers or just look-alikes. Do you know what I mean???

I have also seen BP's looking like the one pictured for sale on the KS Classifieds as a Low White Pied.

I love the Ringers and Pieds though! And other than the Pastels they are my favorite morphs. ****scratches head and thinks**** or was it Mojaves??? Maybe it was Spiders? Hell I'll take em all. BP's in any color are just to Damn Cute to pass up. lol

Even the lowest white pied will still have the abberant swirled pattern - this one does not also I beleive Eric said it does not have a completely white belly like a pied does.

look just to the left and right of the white, that is definitely the pied pattern! then it fades back into normal

The only "normal pattern on a true pied is on the head - no matter how low white the pied is it will always have an aberant body pattern. Ringers will have the abberant patterning only around the ring.

ok so it is not a low white pied but can it be 100% het for pied?
because the 100% hets we do see have normal patterns right?

What makes that snake a ringer and not a low white pied?Or should I say, what where the parents?I suppose that would explain it.

onhel Mar 04, 2006 12:06 AM

There is no pattern mutation, so it cant be a low white pied.

Eric Sandoval Mar 02, 2006 06:42 PM

He's a 100% het pied. Someone mentioned the belly here's a pic. I sure wish I could keep them all.
