Thanks Jimmy. Sam is a great looking snake. Are you breeding him this season?

Yep,
They just haven't hooked up yet.
Or at least I haven't seen any sign that they have.
I will usually put my pairs together in a sterilite container with one paper towel as substrate.
I will leave them together for a couple of days at a time.
With all of my corn pairings I either saw them hook up or saw the signs that they probably did hook up.
After a few times with each pair, I let them go back to their own enclosures and wait for the fun.
With my two pairs of bairdis they just haven't seemed to hook up.
I will be putting them together again this weekend.
Just waiting for the female to poop from her last feeding.
Nothing worse then poop all over the breeding container.

Green eggs and ham...Sam, I am..
Sam is around 50 to 53 inches hard to get an exact measurement even with a string.
Getting nice and thick, too.
Of all my snakes he has to be way up there on the top of the list.
Great looking animal
great attitude, never seems to get very nervous
eats like a champ
Just a great snake.
And although it was a small clutch last season, he did father 3 very nice looking babies...lol

Looks like Sam is starting to get some nice size on him. I'd guess my 04 male is around 38-40 inchs. He's a big time tail rattler when you reach in to get him out. Sometimes he'll musk, but for the most part, a very gentle ratsnake. I'll post an updated pic of mine at the top of the forum when I get a chance.
