well i have a habba mist usually 50-60 bucks, the only thing is they do not work well in larger cages their area of coverage is rather small so i would say they are ok just nothing larger than a twenty gallon. JK

Do the habba mists work? I heard that they were messy, produced large drops and sputtered water all over.
IMO Habba mist is perfect for a single cage. I also like the fact I can use batteries when I have Otto outside in his basking cage. It was the best solution I found.
http://www.trix.com/binx/mister/ i think this page shows you how to make your own mister but i am not sure on the costs
mine doesn't work very well i use a spray bottle because it doesn't squirt far and has pretty large drops and the noise pisses my veiled off, i only use it when i have to or when i am on vacation and it is at my neighbors house try it iff you want but i don't really like them. JK
