Picture request!! interaction pics

freon546 Mar 02, 2006 09:02 PM

I always see people on here with pics of the cool colorations of their boas, but i would like to see some pics of people holding their snakes.

They dont need to be any speacial morph. I am considering getting a normal BCI and i wanted see a few pics to get a size comparison. So i would prefer to see people holding or interacting with their adult boas, but i alway appreciate pics of little boas too.

I have a ball python, but it seems like boas are a little more active and a little less shy. I held a baby boa in the pet store and it seemed really neat.

Got any interaction pics laying around you wouldnt mind sharing?

A 2003 Hypo het. Ghost female. Should go this year. Pic is a few months old. Good news: I'm fuzzy. Better news: Snake looks sweet!

John,
She is about 16 years old, 12ft long. As for weight, I don't have a scale but would guess somewhere between 60-80lbs. She is very heavy. She is actually owned by one of my friends, he was moving and I have been taking care of her for awhile. She feeds on one 10lb rabbit every two months. She is very easy going and he uses her alot for educational school programs. He has brought up the question several times to me about breeding her, but I continue to talk him out of it. He has had her since she was a baby in 1990 and I would hate for her to have some kind of complications and not make it through the birthing process. She is an awesome snake and she makes me regret selling off some of my large pets.
Attached is a photo of one of my 10ft females that was a pet. I sold her last year to make more room for babies.
Take Care,
Steve
