Red Foot Bedding

crocker Jul 27, 2003 07:41 PM

What is the best easy-to-find bedding to keep my red foot in. I have some left-over aspen wood chips that i use with another animal. Would this be alright to use in it enclosure for bedding? If that is not good to use whats another type of wood chips that would be good to use. If wood chips are not good to use what is a type of dirt i could use instead? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I use shredded Cypress Mulch. It is inexpensive to buy.
I always microwave it for 3 minutes before adding it to
kill mites, etc. I have been very successful with it.
It holds humidity well too.

Hope this helps
