Who is actually Randy Young.
I found out last Wednesday, Randy is the FOUNDER of the GCHS!

I joined the GCHS as a sophomore in high school in 1983...and I think I just missed Randy, but, how cool is it to have back the founder of the club from way back in 1977.

Anyway...welcome back!

Thanks for the kind words Dean. I had a lot of help. Most noteably was the wisdom and counsel of Dr. Richard Davis who so graciously secured the support of the Cincinnati Museum of Nat. History at our inception. This support gave us the immediate credibility needed to launch such an endeavor. I hope that my occasional visits will in some small way offer something of value to GCHS in return for all that GCHS gave to me in those early days.

BTW, our first meeting was on September (5th?) of 1977. We set up a steering committee to draft bylaws that were passed and adopted at the October 1977 meeting. The 30th anniversary will be here before you know it. Thanks to you, Grady, Todd and many others, GCHS will see that happen. You all carried on when things looked doubtful for GCHS. Many thanks.
