Out of brumation pics. Stillwater Hypos

I always forget how beautiful these things are until I warm them up in March. No two look alike and all of mine have such calm and gentle temperments.

Wow Matt

Looking great! Mine just woke up also and looking forward on getting some more little ones from them this year. I can't wait until some of my other bulls are big enough to bred so I can plug in their genes to some other morphs. Ofcourse, I will always have the pure locality ones. I wonder how hypo speckled would look. I owe these guys on getting me started with bullsnakes. Just awesome bulls to work with. BTW, are those the babies from a couple of years ago? If so, momma says hello from CA

Jonel,
The last two pics are the pair from you. The female is the most orange Stillwater I have ever seen. This sounds crazy, but the pic doesn't even capture close to her full color. She is bright orange with purple edging on the saddles. The male is the last pic and he is more yellow. Awesome animals and thanks again! BTW- how are the jani doing?

Hey Matt

The jani pair are doing great. The female is eating small rats now and the male is eating weanling sized rats. I also got another aberrant pair from Steve G. last year which I'm planning to bred to the pair I got from you. The female looks similar to your stripped keeper but with more of an orange background. The male on the other hand has stripping on first 1/3 of his body. Have you noticed if its somewhat dimorphic with this aberrancy? Seems to me that the nicest ones seem to be females. I have yet to take pics since my camera crapped out on me and still waiting for the returns to come back. I'll post them here as soon as I get them. BTW, how are the capes?

Jonel,
I haven't hatched enough of the striped jani to say with any certainty it's a dimorphic occurance. The pictured here is a male and is less extreme than yours, but still obviously aberrant.

The Capes are doing great! They should be ready to brumate next season and produce some killer babies with my other animals. They are both eating adult mice or nearly weaned rats and look as gorgeous as the day I got them.
